Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services at LWT Lewiston Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services

LWT Lewiston Concrete provides professional concrete installation, repair, and related services for residential and commercial properties. All services are subject to availability and performed in accordance with industry standards and local building codes.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Service quotes are estimates and may be adjusted based on site conditions, material costs, or unforeseen circumstances discovered during the project.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in your written quote or contract. Typical payment schedules include a deposit at contract signing, progress payments during the project, and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

Late payments may be subject to finance charges. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to file a mechanic's lien against the property and pursue collection through legal means.

Project Timeline

We provide estimated project timelines based on normal conditions. Actual completion dates may vary due to weather, material availability, permit delays, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to complete your project as quickly as possible.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with warranties that cover workmanship defects for a specified period as outlined in your contract. Warranties do not cover damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.

To maintain warranty coverage, you must follow recommended maintenance procedures and notify us promptly of any concerns. We will repair or replace defective work at our discretion.

Property Access and Site Conditions

You agree to provide clear access to the work site and remove any obstacles, vehicles, or personal property that may interfere with our work. You are responsible for marking underground utilities, sprinkler systems, and other buried items before we begin work.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your property but are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, landscaping in the immediate work area, or pre-existing damage that becomes apparent during excavation.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of repairs or replacement of defective work as covered by our warranty. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from our services or any delays in completion.

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage and comply with all state and local requirements. Claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.

Changes and Modifications

Changes to the scope of work must be requested in writing and will be subject to additional charges. We reserve the right to refuse changes that compromise safety, violate codes, or are impractical given project conditions.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel a project after we have begun work, you are responsible for payment for all work completed, materials purchased, and reasonable cancellation fees. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the stage of the project.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Maine law. The prevailing party may be entitled to recovery of reasonable attorney fees.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
